Whether she knew it or not, Simmons' fell head first into the world of beauty at the young age of nine. After watching countless music videos in her youth, Simmons' accidentally clicked on a makeup tutorial. This fun after school past time became a lifelong hobby, and then career. Overtime, high school prom gigs turned to fashion show looks, and YouTube tutorials turned into journalistic takes. Now, she is active in the online journalism space, and the fashion industry.
