Mel H Simmons

Mel H Simmons is a Hawaii based beauty journalist, video editor, and content creator with a passion for supporting AAPI representation in the beauty, fashion and entertainment industry.

While obtaining my bachelor’s degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, she started her career in journalism at EnVi Media covering beauty and fashion trends in the Asian diaspora. This opportunity lead her to travel to interview a diverse mix of talent across the globe.

Simmons also have worked backstage at New York Fashion Week in the Fall 2023 and Spring 2025 seasons. She assisted the fashion show producer and stylist as a production assistant, fit assistant, and video editor. Simmons created series of social media content showcasing the production company’s work.

Additionally, she is a travel and beauty content creator. Simmons has worked with Korean cosmetics brands to expand their global market. Her travel videos document fashion and beauty activities across Tokyo, Seoul, and New York City.
